What makes JJC influential in the music industry? Apart from his own successful solo career, he has been influential in the careers of many great African artists including artists like D´Banj, Don Jazzy, the 419 Squad, Weird MC, Olu Maintain, and Bouqui. JJC is a Nigerian born London and Lagos-based director, rapper, singer and producer. He is also the CEO of BIGBOYZ Entertainment (Noni Zondi, Lil Miss, Tipsy, 2kriss, AbFresh, and TeeBo are signed to this label), and has worked with a host of talented artists including Jamelia, Lemar, Jennifer Lopez, Tunde Ednut, Lynxxx, Davido, Liberty X, and Ginuwine just to name a few. He is inspired by the likes of Afrobeat maestros Sir Shina Peters and the great Fela Kuti. One of the singles that really got JJC international recognition was his Monster hit single titled “We Are Africans“. The tune spread across Africa like wildfire and made him one of the most talked-about artists of our generation.
