On the first week of September this year, we knew exactly who would be on the cover this month. That was the night that Tosin Araromi became the first ever Miss Nigeria USA beauty queen. As soon as we finished our cover feature with the fabulous DJ Cuppy, we started working on this month’s cover story, organized by Joy Ikedinma. Tosin-a first-generation Nigerian-American, is a senior at Montclair State University in America studying family and child studies with a concentration in family services. She is also part of a women’s empowerment group called The Esther Project” which is a global empowerment movement with a mission of preparing and positioning women for their purpose in life. I believe the future of Africa is in our women,’ says Tosin who would like her reign to focus on empowering women. Check out our #DecemberCover below:
