Kaela Kay Kaela Kay’s Fall/Winter 2013 Collection is too beautiful!

Let me just say this: Kaela Kay is a fantastic fashion label for women who love to look amazing and who aren’t afraid to look good in prints. Run by Catherine Addai from her fashion studio in Canada, Kaela Kay is known for mixing Ankara prints with almost every other material you can think of. If it’s lace, cotton, or silk, Kaela Kay is one brand that is never shy of using prints in all her collections. Her Fall/Winter 2013 Collection was released a few months ago and the collection features warmer/deeper hues, longer hemlines and fuller skirts all made with an African flare. “My collections are modelled after no one woman but designed for all women,” says Catherine Addai. “Kaela Kay clothing is feminine yet strong, dainty yet bold; and totally unconventionally modern.”

For this Fall/Winter 2013 Collection, I wanted to show that prints can be worn all year round. By selecting warmer colours and adding lace, the styles are suitable for Fall and Winter. The styles are meant to be versatile enough to wear to church, to a wedding reception, or a holiday party, says Catherine.
