Dpipertwins feature Our 3 favourite looks from the collection

If there is one clear message the Dpipertwins’s latest collection is broadcasting, it is talking “trendy” this month. For their Fall/Winter 2013 Collection, the colour schemes were earth tones such as olives, chocolate browns, as well as beautiful different hues of blue. It’s a collection that has a variation of gorgeous looks from retro to happy hour in seamless and sophisticated style.

According to Danielle and Chantelle Dwomoh-Piper, the designers and founders of the Dpipertwins label, “We use our traditional African prints in contemporary, and classy styles. We dabbled a bit in skins which is what we’ve actually never done and created some interesting and edgy looks by combining it with sequins which is also what we normally use in our collections. We then incorporated our top selling pieces such as our peek-A-boo shirts, and ruffle back shirts with sleek knee-length pencil skirts. This collection is described as sexy, comfy, elegant and classy.”

We love their signature peek-A-boo shirts and it’s not just us lusting over their peek-A-boo shirts. Even music star Chrisette Michele adores the shirts and wore them recently for one of her performances in Brooklyn. Check out Chrisette Michele below in a peek-A-boo top
