Funky Tribal Clothing brought to life by B’ExotiQ – Shot by Croatian photographer Dean Zulich
(Dean has shot for Playboy and Marie Claire)

We take a trip down fashion memory lane and revisit designs from B’ExotiQ by Bee Arthur. Bee as she is fondly called shared with us a few images from her Victory Over Slavery Collection shot 2 years ago at Elmina Castle in Ghana.

B’ExotiQ is run by Ghanaian/Russian DesignerBeatrice Arthur and B’ExotiQ is a KORA Fashion Award Winner back in 2001.

Elmina Castle is a World Heritage Site protected by UNESCO and was the first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea back in 1482. The designer chose this location for her shoot because when she was quite younger she schooled in Elmina and she wanted to do something glamorous and positive in a place associated with a horrible and cruel past. The designs in this collection are very bold, elegant and with a bit of Bee Arthur’s Funk. Unique and Classy pieces!
