Charity is pure love and messages of charities being done for others always connects with our heart. This week, we focus on a Kenyan based fashion brand that are empowering HIV+ women through employment. Bora Wear is a vibrant menswear brand that loves creating fashion and opportunities for the skilled impoverished women in Kenya. Every month, the brand creates 3 exclusive designs “exclusive prints that won’t be repeated” which they sell every month. A percentage of the proceeds made is then donated to an orphanage for HIV+ children, The Toto Love Children’s Home in Kenya. This month’s collection is called May Mania!

According to the designer Mugo Muna, The collection represents the transition from the gloom of winter to the bounty of spring time.

The designer continues, Bora Wear is all about making a real difference in people’s lives here in Kenya. Rather than having these impoverished women going to extremes for money, we provide them with meaningful employment, giving them and their children an opportunity for better lives.
