The 2013 Ford Fusion

The 2013 Ford Fusion offers three gasoline engines and two hybrid power plants. In addition to the standard 2.5L Duratec® I-4 engine, there are two new available EcoBoost® engines – 1.6L and 2.0L – that offer a no-compromise combination of power and efficiency. In an effort to maximize efficiency while lowering carbon emissions, the conventional and plug-in hybrid electric power plants each feature a gas engine and electric motor. The new suspension system delivers a smooth ride, while electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) provides a responsive and comfortable driving experience. And for peace of mind, the available Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive System gives you traction when and where you need it most.

The technology features in the 2013 Fusion keep you connected – with the world, with your car. Available SYNC® with MyFord Touch® allows you to keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road while you play your favourite music, control the interior climate, make or receive phone calls and receive turn-by-turn directions.* Available SYNC® Services provides traffic alerts, 911 Assist®, Vehicle Health Report and more. SmartGauge® with the EcoGuide cluster, standard on Fusion Hybrid, provides information to help you drive more efficiently. There are also available features that do everything from warning you of vehicles in your blind spot to parallel parking your car with the help of ultrasonic sensors.

From powerplants that enhance efficiency to an aerodynamic design and seating that utilizes recycled material, the 2013 Fusion is designed to be environmentally conscious. The Fusion Hybrid and Fusion Energi plug-In hybrid are each powered by a combination high-voltage electric motor and 2.0L Atkinson-cycle I-4 gasoline engine. A new 1.6L I-4 EcoBoost® engine is designed to be fuel efficient without compromising on power. There’s also the available Automatic Start-Stop System that shuts the engine down when you come to a stop and seamlessly restarts it when you release the brake. Very smart. Just like the 2013 Fusion.

With its athletic lines and sleek silhouette, the 2013 Fusion conveys a sense of agility. The inverted trapezoid grille gives Fusion a distinctive look, while low-profile projector laser cut headlamps and LED tail lamps display intelligent technology. Open the door. Available ambient lighting with seven colour choices establishes the mood, just as the available leather-trimmed seats communicate luxury and sophistication. Adding to its style and comfort is the workmanship and premium quality of the materials used in crafting Fusion.
