Last week, Adiree “Organizers of Africa Fashion Week  New York (AFWNY)” and Pikolinos “an international footwear firm” hosted a luxurious African fashion pop-up shop event at the Pikolinos store on Gansevoort street in New York. The pop-up shop which features beautiful sandals, bags and other items embroidered by the Maasai women via the Pikolinos Maasia project was the venue for this fabulous show as African fashion designers who will be showcasing at AFWNY 2013 in July showcased their designs to a beautiful and fashion-hungry crowd who were all looking gorgeous. Adiat Disu, the President of Adirée and Director of Africa Fashion Week New York was looking glamorous on the night and we also spotted Bisila Bokoko, Global Ambassador and strategist for Pikolinos. Below are a few images from some of the guests who attended the event. It was a magical night in New York, and a huge success!
