Birthday Wishes to Mr. Nelson Mandela

One of our devoted readers sent us this design he spent 67 minutes to make on Nelson Mandela. Mr. Mandela served not only South Africa but Africa has a whole. He stood for freedom, he stood for peace, he fought for equal rights and justice for every man. Mandela, who became South Africa’s first black president in 1994, spent 27 years of his life in prison fighting racist rule in South Africa during the apartheid. Every July 18th has also become known as Mandela Day – an initiative of the Nelson Mandela Foundation. People worldwide are encouraged to devote time (specifically 67 minutes in recognition of his 67 years of service) community service to pay tribute to the anti-apartheid icon.
