Kamara Thomas is a petite Caribbean model born and raised in the United Kingdom. She got inspired to get into modelling shortly after completing college because of her love for taking pictures and being in front of the lens. Over the last few years, Kamara has worked with a handful of amazing photographers like Jonathan Wootton, Daniel Richardson, Cabal, Jess Petrie, Russ Smith and Lenka Schreinerova. It didn’t take long for her to discover that modelling was a great way to express herself and meet so many interesting professionals. “I love being able to create so many diverse looks through different makeup styles, poses, themes and expressions says Kamara“. One of Kamara’s key goals is to become a well known international model who uses her position to impact the younger generation of petite models. “I want to open more doors and get more opportunities for petite models in the modelling industry“. Presently, Kamara is working very hard to get her face out to the world through doing ad campaigns for several brands and in magazines across the world. Even though Kamara is yet to be signed to any agency, she still relishes the challenge that comes with being a freelance model “I am simply enjoying the freedom and challenge of finding my own work without the agency type restrictions.” Right now Kamara is enjoying modelling, learning more ways to be a better professional and giving hope to petite models to follow their dreams no matter the challenges and difficulties they may face.
