Yimika – A Fresh Face in Modelling
“You have to understand your body and be comfortable in your own skin to be able to sell anything put on you by the designer,” – those are the words of Yimika Soname a bold and determined Nigerian fashion model based in the United Kingdom. Even though Yimika is fresh into the modelling world, she is filled with so much passion to achieve so much and is a bright young talent. In a short space of time, Yimika has been able to work with a host of amazing industry brands such as Mahogany Bridal show, Fashion Finest, Fashion Mist, The Gele Show and has worked with designers like Ariike Alden, Wusuwaah, Eva Cammarata, Evelyn Nwajagu (Ijeve Designs), Adebayo Jones, Yemi Osunkoya (Kosibah Couture Bridal & Evening wear).
As a model, it is important to know what type of model you are and concentrate on becoming the best in that category.
